Disability Home Care
Disability Home Care
Receiving care at home when you're living with a disability can be preferable to living in a Care Home away from family and friends; however, everyone's circumstances are going to be different, and what's suitable for one person may not suit another. When you're living with a disability that limits your independence, receiving care at home can ensure that the tasks you want to undertake are within your reach, as your carers will provide the extra help needed. This can mean the difference when it comes to regaining your independence and living the way you want to.
Disability care from Clarion Health can either be on a visiting basis, where your carer comes to you at set times and for a pre-arranged duration, or you can have a carer live-in your home with you. Visiting care means your carer will not be with you all the time, but perhaps you have someone living with you who does most of your care. Visits can be from 30 minutes and up to as long as you require, so our support packages can mold around your requirements to help with anything from everyday tasks like housework and bathing to assist with complex care needs.
If you would like constant companionship as well as the same high standards of care delivery, you may prefer to have one of our carers living in your home with you.  Live-in-care is a great alternative if you live alone and would otherwise not be able to remain in the home you love, and both types of care are personalized to your circumstances and as flexible as you need them to be.
